Guest Information
Welcome to Teme Valley View, which forms part of our home and our working smallholding. The information here is to help you enjoy your stay whilst here.
Let us introduce ourselves; Rachel and Chris and our two daughters. We have two adventurous cats and one lovable dog called Monty. Our daughters are the 6th generation of the Lambert family to have lived here at the smallholding. We have a flock of sheep and many types of poultry. You will quite often see Kites and Buzzards flying overhead. Sit and enjoy the glorious views over the Teme Valley where we hope you will have a relaxing and restful time here.
We would love to read your comments in our guest book. We have also provided a white board in the kitchen. If there is anything you can suggest we do differently or could provide, please would you write it here so that we can action this for the future. Our overall goal is to provide you with a stay to remember and to visit us again in the future.
We have undertaken a complete refurbishment of Teme Valley View. We would appreciate it if, outdoor footwear is removed before going into the house through the kitchen. Footwear can be left in the large outdoor porch/garden room.
Dogs are not allowed on the beds or furniture. We request that dogs are not left unattended in the property. We want you to enjoy your stay with your dog family. We have provided some treats in the porch area along with some towels if you require to dry your dog off after a walk. We have provided a grey pop-up wash bin, in the porch and would ask that you put dirty dog towels in here please. There is also a fenced off area which is for your use whilst staying with us. This is safe for children and dogs to play in. We would ask for any dog mess to be collected up and disposed of in tied up dog poo bags. These can then be put in the outside bin marked up “General Waste”. As we are on a working smallholding, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, other than the fenced off garden area for your use.
There are various seating areas dotted around the garden, which we are happy for you to use. As we are co-joined, the only area we respectively ask you to refrain from using is to the far left, which is our property and garden area. The track that extends past Teme Valley View goes to two further privately owned properties and our working buildings, these areas are private too. However, take a short stroll to our orchard area and you can see all our different poultry.
Hot Water and Heating The Immersion heater is located on the bathroom wall to the left hand side when walking in the bathroom. It is set to come on twice a day, (6.30 – 8.30 am) and (4.30 – 7.30pm), however, there is a boost button on top right hand corner of the unit. Press once to gain extra boost to hot water. There are electric heaters which can be set at an ambient temperature. During the summer months these will be turned off but we are happy to show you how to operate if you require extra warmth if the weather temperature goes cooler during your stay. If for any reason you require assistance with anything not quite sure of, please do contact us and we will be happy to help you where possible.

Household Waste -There are three bins which have been marked up GENERAL WASTE, GLASS, PLASTIC & CARDBOARD. Please could you recycle where possible, where indicated. Each Tuesday morning, the local waste collection service usually collects from between 6.45am to 7.15 am. We are happy to ensure the correct bin allocation is ready for that morning.
Septic Tank - As the property has its own septic tank, we ask that you do not put nappies, wipes or sanitary products down the toilet. This will cause a blockage in the system.
Smoking/Vaping - There is no smoking or vaping inside the property. If you do smoke, please could you dispose of cigarette stubs in the container provided by the bins
